Let’s Try Democracy Again!
Let’s Try Democracy Again!
It is true
that no positive trade can be negotiated with the fodder headed, self-centered
fence post presently acting like he IS the neighboring country to the
south rather than its destructive, crime ridden figure-head. It also appears
that we will have to put up with that situation for the next 3 years since
right thinking people with integrity are apparently also cowards.
So that
means we have 3 years to concentrate on the development of Canada and to
extricate this greatest of nations from the embarrassment of our former prime
minister (lack of capitals intentional), the destruction of Canadian values,
and the continuing misdirection of the country by his replacement.
It’s time
to return to democracy, free speech, acceptance of progressive ideas and
development of internal and external assets.
No, despite
repeated assurances from the Carney government, we have none of these but we do
have a long list of things that need to be eliminated, curbed and/or reversed.
From the
long list of disastrous legislation below it is apparent that the elected “representatives”
in Ottawa (Who, exactly, are they supposed to be representing?) do not have the
best interest of the country as their primary motivation. (Or perhaps it’s just
that they don’t know what they’re doing?)
In the process of designing constructive, meaningful
legislation there are many steps. For instance, ensuring the legislation is
indeed NECESSARY, REQUIRED or WANTED is important. That can be accomplished by
ASKING THOSE INVOLVED and not the social parasite in the office next door.
Simply drafting legislation because you think it justifies your elected
position is in itself destructive.
While conducting research, be careful who you ask! For
example, have you been made aware that the “massive” hole in the ozone is much
smaller than it was twenty years ago? DO NOT ask a zoologist in some city
center, a district nurse in Fort Smith or an art student in Waterloo about the environment
even though, to a federal politician, they may sound knowledgeable. In this
instance, consulting a meteorologist would be a STARTING POINT.
Similar approaches should be made with other subjects. In
the gender identification of pre-pubescent children, for example, one should
NOT consult a teacher who may have watched a documentary on the subject or who
has been designated “girls councillor” because she demonstrates great empathy.
As a matter of fact, due to conflicts of interest, no grade school teacher
should ever be consulted on this subject unless they have PhDs in Psychology or
Sociology.
With any subject where people under the age of consent are involved
(which in most cases is 18 years of age and too low) the ULTIMATE AUTHORITY
should be the parents unless the legal system feels child welfare should be
involved. And good luck with that nightmare.
Here is a long list of programs, policies and legislation
that the voting public, if they where PROPERLY INFORMED would demand be curbed
or terminated. Policies that, if properly understood, would undoubtedly bring
down the governments involved, are constricting development and growth, and
might lead to criminal prosecution of whoever came up with the idea.
